Period appetite phases - any experience post taking HRT

Hi - I have very clearly defined appetite phases in my cycle - first ten days I can eat as healthily as I like - I'm not invested in food and am able to have my meals and that's it. The last ten days I am like an animal for carbs and fat - i easily eat twice as much And actively gorge on food some days, I just can't be filled and I feel genuine hunger during it so I don't think it's emotional as I have tracked many times with my period.

The thing is it averages out so my average maintains my weight so it doesn't actually impact too much although if I weighed on the scale I'd be nearly half a stone different through these two phases.

I am hoping someone can identify with this and if they have taken HRT if it had any impact and if so in what way ? Obviously I'd like to have the first type of appetite because it's more "normal" but my fear is I will be stuck in the gorging phase which coincides with higher hormone levels.

When I was pregnant I didn't stop eating and it was exactly like I was in this second stage permanently - I put on five stone.

I've read the recommended Dr Newson web site and it seems there is no link between HRT and weight gain and that actually some people find losing weight easier.
I don't need to lose weight but I really don't want to be stuck in the second phase where I know I will put it on.

I hope this makes sense but wondering if anyone else knows what I'm talking about and what happened after taking HRT.

Thank you very much
