Hot flush from alcohol

Does anyone else get this?? Just the last month or so if I have a glass of wine my face gets so hot and red. Gin not so much, luckily 🤣.
Is there anything I can do? Will it wear off?

Peri-menopausal by any chance?

You are not alone. I react to random types of alcohol so I never know when to expect it, so some but not all beers, some but not all wines - you get the picture. Face and neck flushes and feels hit, it's really annoying.

So not all wines? I should try a few more then... 🤣🤣

This happens to me too in particular the week before my period is due. I’ve lost many nights of sleep when I’ve had more than one glass of either gin or wine ☹️☹️It’s so frustrating particularly when sleep is such a precious commodity right now 😂😂

Yes I’m now a wine flusher too Blush ... and coffee ... and a nice curry just leaves me purple Confused At least you’ve still got the gin, op - praise be!!!

Me too! It started occasionally with red wine, but now most of the time and with white wine too. Very disappointing! Doesn't seem to be too bad with g&t. That's something, I guess! Wine
