Utrogeston - empty stomach

Just wondering how important it is that I take my utrogeston on an empty stomach? I’ve seen a few posts with people opting for a Mirena coil to avoid the annoyance of altering when they eat. I’m normally ok but last night we ate later as my DH worked late. Does this mean it won’t work?!

I was told it makes little difference when it's taken.

If it's taken with food , more is actually absorbed.
The directions to use without food are to reduce side effects (as less it absorbed.)
The opposite to what you'd expect!
