What do other ladies take to help menopause symptoms ?
I’ve struggled for 7yrs now & although it’s my choice not to take HRT I’m struggling with exhaustion, sleep is rubbish, anxiety, feeling hot all the time, joint & muscle pains etc

Do you have a medical history that means hrt is out?
Just asking as so many posters here say they can't use it and often their GPs are wrong.

Sorry I thought you said it wasn't your choice.

Are you worried about the risks? Is that the reason?

Say my experience is that there are no miracle treatment.

Best is to improve your lifestyle as much as possible, diet, exercise, drinking etc...except that of course, that's hard to do when you are sleep deprived, achy and moody.

Which is the worse aspect for you? I'd focused on that. There are other medical treatment you can try for hot flushes.

Antidepressants can help a lot with the anxiety part.

Sleep is more of a problem as I'm finding. You can try Amitriptyline which helps but it has quite done unpleasant side effects. I also found it only works well if taken very occasionally.
