Anyone around to chat with.
Been asleep for an hour, woke up now my heart felt like it was pounding. It was 85bpm so not really. Really unsettled and panicky now. Can't sleep.

Glad to hear you're feeling better Mumma, I'm gonna go to bed now, but first I have to rub the gel into my thighs and insert one of them utrogestan tablets into 'God's front pocket'

Sexy!

Night night

Hi MummaPI, how you feeling this morning? I have been exactly the same. I've just asked for a telephone appt with my GP as I'm finding the sleepless nights and pounding heart to be getting intolerable. It's the latest in a list of symptoms that started when I turned 40 and by far the worst.

Hi @NorthernNic
I'm ok, it comes and goes, horrible when it happens and then easily forgotten when it doesn't if that makes sense? It's such a scary feeling and I'm so grateful for everyone that took time to say hi that night. How are you? Hope the GP can reassure you

I completely agree, it's been fairly traumatic at times but I've felt more like my old self the last couple of days so it's hard to even describe what those feelings are like, bizarre.
I've just had a telephone appt with my GP and she has agreed to test my FSH levels (I'm not yet 45) but crucially she did say that even if those come back normal she's not necessarily going to rule peri out given that the only symptom I've not experienced are hot flushes.
Meanwhile I'm now in research mode so I'm ready to discuss options with her. Have you considered HRT?
