Give your HRT time to work

There have been a few posts lately where people are asking if their HRT is working or not, or feel it's not. I appreciate it's not great if you want results.

The medical advice is to review after 12 weeks. It's too much to expect a huge turn around in days or a week , for most women.

The website of Dr Louise Newson has masses of info, from simple factsheets on HRT to more detailed podcasts and interviews with medical experts. Well worth a look if you're struggling or unsure of something.

Very useful thank you. Any idea of the timescale that it takes to really feel the benefit? Can it take 12 weeks? Thanks BTW jingling I have read many good reassuring nuggets of advice from you on numerous threads. Thank you for taking the time to give such detailed info, it is appreciated.
