Fast heart rate anyone? Is it a symptom?

Post menopausal my last monthly period in 2016, little bit of blood here and there till 2018.
Age 52 now finding heart rate fast been like this a few years I think but a Fitbit watch and a oximeter over the last few months show me a fast heart rate on sitting down watching tv etc it can be in the nineties to 105, 110 roughly and other times late seventies or eighties.
Walking around house doing non strenuous chores or just walking about getting food ready my heart rate rises to 125,129,138 and 152 at the highest.
I recently had a chest infection and was told heart rate high told them it seems high all the time so I had a holten monitor for 24 hours.
I was told it was at 138 once and I told doctor that was just moving around the house at that time, she said I had ectopic heart beat and that was quite normal and it's generally in the eighties at rest.
She didn't answer when I asked if it could be a symptom of menopause so I'm wondering if anyone else has had this?
I'm not on hrt.

Just to add GP was happy with holten monitor results no further action.

I think I would watch for any other symptoms such as chest pain, shortness of breath or feeling faint.

If you recently had a chest infection you could still be recovering. Maybe give it a few weeks and go back to your doctor if there is no improvement. If you have other symptoms then push for further tests.

@mdinbc Thanks I think I will go back in another couple of weeks as last night I had a heart rate of 101,107 and 109 whilst asleep and the rest of the night it was between mid sixties and 90s.
Though it could be menopause related, doctor didn't think after seeing holten monitor results any further action was needed.
