Sun Allergy ?

So I went for what I thought would be a lovely walk in the park with my Dd
Suddenly my face and chest came up in red hives
Blotches all over my face 🙈
My dd was fine , is this part of the dreaded menopause?? I’ve never had a reaction like this before

Did they itch? Are they lumpy or flat?

My chest was itchy but my face wasn’t the blotches on my face are flat a few risen ones on my chest

Just asking because I get a mostly flat red blotches reaction to the sun which only itches in some places. It's called PLE or photosensitive light eruption. Hormonal link. It's only appeared in the last few years and I am increasingly confident I've gone into perimeno. Might be worth a look; I'm not a fan of asking Dr Google but you might be able to distinguish it from heat rash etc.

I agree it could be hormonal I’m well into menopause & this has never happened before it’s quite scary as I didn’t know what to think
I did pop onto the pharmacy & he gave me antihistimines which has calmed the rash down a lot
