I'm astounded - I've been so worried about speaking to my GP after reading others experiences, but he was amazing!

I'm 43 - definite peri symptoms but not backed up by FSH on bloods. However - as I have lots of symptoms, and already have a mirena, he was happy to prescribe oestrogen. He even gave me a choice of patches or gel (I went for gel).

Just putting this out there, so if anyone else is as worried as I was, don't be discouraged from talking to your GP.
