Hi,

I have had an appointment with Newson Health and am waiting on blood test results.

Am 39 and for 2 days a month my hormones are out of control:
Can't stop crying, either over nothing or over something minor that normally wouldn't bother me
Can't get out of bed
Super upset

Am normally very productive/walk a lot of miles each day, cook etc but I just can't. It floors me.

I hope to start on oestrogen soon but any advice in the meantime? I also have a lot of other perimenopause symptoms but these two days are just horrible, my eyes are actually swollen from crying so much much and I feel so bad for my DC - they think I'm unwell and therefore in bed.

Have you heard of PMDD? If not, look it up - it sounds like you’ve got it.

Yes, the dr mentioned that it could be that as opposed to perimenopause. I'll Google it.

Sorry not helpful, but count your blessings its only 2 days. I'd give my right arm for just 2 days. Some of us struggle with multiple illnesses then all the joys of menopause on top including VA and lichen sclerosus.

Helpful :-) Thanks for making assumptions about what else I have going on too. 👍
