I feel normal when I read through these chats Smile

I contacted my GP last year, and last month had a couple of blood tests to check for thyroid problems and to check my HCG levels. My GP advised that my bloods are perfect, albeit I need to take a vitamin D supplement. HCG levels were 10.3 so didn't really suggest perimenopause despite me having a vast array of the symptoms (except no real hot flushes, I am always cold!) which have worsened over the past 12 months. I am not a regular visitor to the GP, and at 49 I feel a nuisance, especially as I have been told to carry on and see how I get on over the next few months. Going private is not an option at the moment, Is it me, is there a set HCG level when you are officially peri??

You don’t usually need to measure hormone levels (and not hCG anyway) but go by symptoms. I’d go back to the GP about this.
