Hi , my Dr has prescribed HRT gel & progesterone,I’ve been researching it for so long but now I’m quite nervous taking it
Has anyone else felt this way ?

Definitely me! But I’m starting the gel today, we can do this! What are you nervous about specifically?

I’ve been on this regime for 18 months so far. Works pretty well.

Hi Pinkrabbit39, I’m don’t really know why I’m nervous I’ve researched HRT for so long & now that I’ve been prescribed it I’m feeling quite anxious about taking it .

One of the GP’s at my practice kept putting me off it but today I was pleasantly surprised that another Dr really listened to me & prescribed it
I had found a private HRT Dr but that would have set me back £180 for a consultation

I paid privately as the symptoms were really affecting me and GP was clueless! I’m one of those that’s a bit of a reader about everything so I researched it inside and out. For me the benefits will hopefully outweigh the risk - my mum had BC so for me this was the red flag but reading it up has reassured me loads
