Weird taste in mouth

Hi ,I’m 48, regular periods don’t think am peri .. however this cycle have had on and off weird taste in mouth for about 7-10 days

Metal - weird taste .. is this a peri sign ? It’s def not dental as literally just had a check ..

Anyone had it as a side effect at my age ? Thanks !

Things taste the same - I just occasionally get a taste of metal in my mouth - hmmm I’ll go for a test tomorrow i think

I tested the kids yesterday for school and they were both negative (not that proves anything I suppose !)

Your whole household needs to isolate while you wait for your test results.

I had that when I went through it around five years ago, I.e not covid.

Yes, a metallic taste in the mouth is connected to perimenopause, ditto dry mouth/lack of saliva.
