Crying/welling up at anything emotional/sad

Hi. I'm 50 and have been on HRT patches for around 3 weeks. I'm on the combined patch this week and I keep crying or welling up. I'm not sad or upset, its things like emotional tv programmes or happy news.

Has anyone else experienced this? it's embarrassing to be sobbing at Chicago Med Confused.

Also I've had a real flair up of dry red flaky skin on my face, could this be HRT related?

Thanks in advance for any responses or advice.

Oh absolutely! HRT has cured/made better so many things. But I will cry if someone else does on TV, cry at GBBO Hmm cry at the news.

I am usually not even upset in the slightest, it is odd, but, as you say, crying at things like 'Greys Anantomy' is bloody embarrasing. Crying because my teenager got good marks is a really bad thing.

No suggestions unfortunately! Watching with interest. Definitely when i have missed HRT it gets much worse, so I am 100% sure it's not HRT.
