Tingling,, burning down below driving me crazy!

I'm 49 and def peri. I have all sorts of symptoms but lately this maddening sensation of tingling and burning down below has been driving me crazy. I've got it now and I can't stand it. Has anyone else had this? Please tell me it will go. I was on Evorel Sequouia patches but stopped a few months ago as they didn't agree with me. Maybe I need to try something else.
Thanks.

oestorgen keeps your area moisturised and plump...lack of it leads to Vaginal Atrophy, itchy dry burning, thinning of the skin.

so back to GP and see what they have to suggest, topical oestrogen such as vagifem (pessary) or ovestin maybe helpful if you don't want to go back to patches.

I had the pessaries and that dealt with all the symptoms very well, but then I upgraded to Oestrogel as the flushes and not sleeping and all the other menopause miseries were driving me crazy, and i do not need the vagifem anymore.

@LaurieSchafferIsAllBitterNow.. thank you so much for your help and advice. The Oestrogel sounds ideal. I'll have to go back to gp as you say. I keep hoping it will pass Hmm

No it's still an issue. It comes and goes though so not a constant problem. I've been on Evorel patches and Utrogesten for 4 months and it doesn't help much but apparently I have to give it 6 months at least. Are you on HRT?

Didn't want to read this and not respond. I am on evorel 50 and utrogestan. Was also experiencing same symptoms and gp prescribed estradiol (same medication as over the counter Gina). It really worked and everything feels so much better.
Give it a go?

Sorry, I thought I had replied to this! That's useful to know, thank you. Glad it's working for you too 😊
