Mooncup/menstrual products in menopause

Can anyone recommend a good menstrual cup for use with vaginal atrophy?

I used a Mooncup for 20-odd years just fine, but in the last year I've found that after a day or so of usage it leaves me sore and feeling chafed and bruised. I've bought a new Mooncup in case the old one was worn out, but it hasn't helped. I use Sylk lube and I am now on Vagifem pessaries, but it still hurts for a week or so after my period ends. I've cut the tail off the Mooncup, but I think the end of the cup still aggravates my skin.

If my days of using a menstrual cup are over, can anyone recommend decent non-shedding tampons or, at worst, some decent pads? I hate the idea of these options but I can't put up with being this sore every 4 weeks.
