I’m hoping this will help with my horrible periods which are my main peri symptoms.

I’m 51 with regular periods which have got shorter but heavier over time. It’s affecting my life now as work is proving difficult on my heaviest days as I’m flooding every hour or so which is an issue working in a supermarket 😢

Not really much point to this but it seems a significant step in my life

I’ve had a scan and no fibroids. Think I might try the coil with the estrogen patches in the hope it helps the heavy periods.

Ooo.. I don’t want to take HRT but I’m interested in using the coil as HRT 🤔

I'm exactly the same! The gp said they're not doing coils yet. My periods seem to have calmed down but the other peri symptoms are awful esp a week before the period.

You'd still need something for the oestrogen element of HRT, which is the bit that really makes you feel better. Either a gel, patch or possibly a pill (though those are less recommended these days).
