I have been on hrt for a long time. Patches stopped working so I had implants. Initially that seemed to work. However, sometimes they release too much oestrogen triggering tachyphalaxsis which means they stop working or they simply run out. Usually however I at least have a couple of months where they work. This time nothing. My sleep has been awful with early morning waking every day. I am always achy and physically tired. Also anxious and low mood (although that could obviously be due to the pandemic). The physical symptoms make me think this is menopause related but given that treatment hasn’t alleviated it, is it something else. I feel weak and feeble. Had standard blood tests at gp and nothing out of the ordinary. I am at my wits end.
