Utrogeston and early bleed?

Hi I take ostrogel and utrogeston HRT. I seem to always bleed by day 7 or 8 of 14 I take them. Should I continue taking the full course each month or stop them when I start to bleed?

Are you taking them orally or vaginally? I have more success vaginally- the dose is more consistent, keeping levels stable and better absorbed and fewer side effects too. If my own cycle breaks through I will sometimes bleed early. I have tried both stopping and continuing with the course. If I continue I don’t then bleed again. If you have having a decent bleed then they have done their job.

You need to complete the course- that's what my meno dr told me @Hadiever.

As PP says if you use them vaginally (at night, just pop them in as high as poss) the absorption is better and you probably won't get this early bleed.

Also, there is no need to 14 days- the leaflet says 12.
