Dear God, these are a new one on me! I am constantly melting. I thought they were supposed to happen occasionally but this is constant. Even with snow on the ground I am sweating. Any tips on how to manage?

Red clover tablets from Holland & Barrett helped me a little bit so that I could sleep without waking up every 45-60 minutes because I felt too hot.

Sage tablets, in particular Menoforce were good for me.

I found sage tablets helpful.. HRT even more so.

Thanks I will try and get some red sage. Do certain clothes trigger flushes? Whenever I wear my slippers I get a power surge. No need for heating in the Vampire house, I just put my slippers on!

I can’t take HRT but paroxetine has almost completely eliminated them. They were unbearable, day and night.

I have started wearing layers so that when i have a power surge I can easily go down to a t shirt. Also didn't need my really thick winter jumpers this year.
