Tell me about your vagina and urethra

Can I ask you ladies what your experiences were with your lady bits in peri ?
I’ve started with a funny feeling that I thought was a water infection to begin with, but now I think it’s in my vagina.
I get a frequent urge to wee and as my bladder empties I get an uncomfortable feeling at the opening of my vagina.
It goes after I’ve wiped and stood up, but I just don’t know what it is. I’m wondering if it might be a bit of a prolapse or something ?

How old are you Op? I had the urgency to pee, the longer I left it the sorer it got.

Can't advise on the possibility of a prolapse, take a look and see. I was peri at 34, last period at 43. On vagifem at 45 for the urgency which helped greatly and ovestin on outside daily. I've now got atrophy and lichen sclerosus. Bloody nightmare.

I had soreness with intercourse and stinging as well as a funny feeling. I started Vagifem in June it seems to have helped.

Gp prescribed for me in absence of consultation due to coronavirus.

Worth a chat with the GP
