General aches and pains and sleep

I am on hrt (implant) but it is not working as well as it used to and I get hot flushes at night and aches and pains which are worse in the morning when I am also extra stiff.
I am finding my current spring firm mattress
Is not helping.
The springs are going and so I am using an old duvet as a mattress topper but I think that is not helping the overheating. What
Do people recommend either mattress or topper wise for comfort and combatting overheating?

I’m on HRT but have patches and I rarely have any hot flushes. Maybe you need to speak to the dr about your dosage?
If the springs on your mattress are going then a mattress topper isn’t really going to make much difference tbh but I have a memory foam one and all our sheets/duvet covers are 100% cotton which really helps. A cotton mix tends to cause sweating.
This has stoped a lot of muscle aches and helps with sleep. Seemingly a lot of people have magnesium deficiency and this causes aches and affects sleep. They also do a spray if you are not a body lotion type of person
