Period pains on HRT?

I have been on femoston 2/10 for just over a year and it has been a godsend. My GP started me on the higher dose as I was still having periods but the last few months the bleed has been really light and the last two months on day 1 of the orange pills (the start of the pack) I have had feelings similar to period pains with the cramps and nausea etc.
Does this mean I should think about talking to the GP to reduce the dose?

Not quite sure what you mean :)
Is this a cyclic sort where you have a bleed each month?

If it is and you normally bleed, do you not normally get period type pains each month? (I do on my HRT!)

It's normal to have the symptoms of a normal period even on HRT when the bleed happens.

Yes I have a (very light) bleed every month. No not had any period pain symptoms since I started them and (I think) not before then either for a bit.
Just suddenly started getting them last couple of months so i wondered if i needed to reduce the estrogen or maybe change the type of progestogen - i started on elleste duet but changed 9 months ago as could not get any elleste
