Sore 'down below'

Sorry in advance for the topic Blush

Today I've noticed that I'm quite sore down below. Haven't changed anything or had sex. Its like little paper cuts close to vaginal opening. Dots of blood on toilet roll too.

No itching/infection/swelling/lumps etc. All totally normal apart from this soreness.

Is this a symptom of peri? The more I think about it I had similar last month (seems to be 75% way through cycle) but never paid alot of attention to it.

Is there anything I can use on it? Or how to avoid it?

Is it thrush perhaps? Alternatively you may have thinning of the vagina which can happen during menopause. They call it atrophy. If your gp is doing face to face appointments, get them to have a look. They can prescribe creams which helps a lot. Also use loads of lubrication when you are sexually active.

Its called vaginal atrophy. Loads online- have a google.

You need estrogen cream from your GP. Over the counter stuff doesn't work, so don't waste your time and money on it.

It could be lichen planus and needs to be seen by a doctor if you can force your way into your GPs surgery.

Probably vaginal atrophy ....oestrogen pessaries or cream.
