Bruising on skin

I have been on HRT for just over a month now and am starting to see the benefits, which is great, but my skin isn't reacting well to the patches.

I have problems with sticking plasters, so was expecting some kind of a reaction. The skin where a patch has been can be itchy and sore, so I keep moving the patches around and apply cream to these areas to calm the skin. All fine and manageable.

However, this morning I've noticed that I now have bruising where the previous patches have been. Is this normal? Does anyone else have this? Is it something I should speak to GP about?

I’ve been on the HRT patches on my 2 nd month maybe try using baby oil to take off and get rid of residue if u scrub it can make it sore !
It could be a reaction if u have it using plasters .
Goodluck x

Thank you for your reply. I'll try taking them off a bit more gently. I usually take them off in the shower. I was just concerned about the bruises! Could that really be from ripping them off?
