Perimenopause issues stopped- what's going on?

I'm 48 and confused! 40-46 I had increased sweating, hot flashes, change in BO, all the usual stuff. Last 18 months this has all stopped. Yet I'm still having periods (with a Mirena in....how?) every 3 weeks now. But the sweating and hot flashes have disappeared. Can anyone shed light on what might be going on?

I was coming on to ask a similar question. 46. Periods stopped 3 months ago and I got loads of hot flushes and night sweats. Showered twice a day as felt so sweaty. That's all stopped past two weeks and I feel tons better - but I have spots. I'm guessing a period is on it's way. It's the gift that keeps on giving isn't it!

Sorry really bad spelling and punctuation - too early!

Me too, 48, last period in September.

Is this nearly the end of peri and now meno?

I know I have to go for a year without a period but if it is woohoo 🎉
