Hot flushes

I always thought hot flushes made you sweaty/ hot all over, but recently I've had times when my face just goes red and feels hot, rest of my body is fine. I had COVID a few weeks ago, and definitely not a temperature. I'm sure my hormones are going out of kilter as I started waking early in the morning a couple of months ago. No periods due to the lovely mirena.
Tell me about your hot flushes - is this likely to be the start of it??

My hot flushes were exactly like this. I say we're because it was a temporary chemical menopause for a year. The only time I'd get sweaty was if I didn't cool myself down quick enough. Night sweats too. HRT was a godsend for the hot flushes but Christ did they give me a headache!

I’ve just started having hot flushes and mine are short (30-60 seconds long maybe) and my chest and face feel hot. Only seem to happen in the evenings and maybe a couple of times in the night. They’re not horrendous at all tbh.
