Sex drive after surgical menopause

I had a total hysterectomy at the start of October. Although I'm recovering well physically, my sex drive has completely disappeared. I literally have no interest in anything intimate at all.

I started on HRT patches a couple of weeks ago. Will this bring things back? I'm 45 and my DH is younger so the thought that this might be it from here on in is miserable.

You also need testosterone.

This is for women like you.

Your GP can't prescribe it but you can get it from a consultant, possibly privately.

If you google Nick Panay/ testosterone for women there are various articles online about it.

Thank you Jingling. I'll look into it.
