Hoping for some advice as I'm not sure whether to be worried or not...
I'm peri-menopausal (but going through it young, in my 30s). I've been prescribed oestrogel (3pumps daily), testogel (low dose testosterone) , vagifem and oevestin. On the recommendation on my gyne I got the mirena put in 6 months ago to balance it out with progesterone but have had regular spotting and bleeding since. I've started to make a note of it and for example I had brown spotting that lasted 8 days ending roughly 3 weeks ago, and then two weeks later I've had light red and brown spotting like a very light period with gentle cramps for almost a week. From what I've read online it spotting with the coil is common but should stop around the 6 months mark. Has anyone experienced similar?
I've called my GP who has booked a scan, so just wanted to see if anyone else had experienced similar...
