Is it normal to dream about being pregnant while peri-menopausal?

I am a couple of years into the peri-menopause, dh had a vasectomy in 2013, youngest child almost 18. I definitely do not want to be pregnant. However, at least a couple of time a month, I dream that I'm five or six months pregnant - and just finding out! The dream feels real, I even go into practicalities re: telling my manager, discussing with dh about him giving up work to provide childcare, telling our children...very weird!

Yes I'm dreaming this too. I had the baby the other night and it had turned into a plastic doll when I went to check on her in the last dream. It was very vivid. Is it my brain saying you need to let go of any motion that's you're young??!

Ha ha! Possibly - they are can be quite unsettling though. I don't know if it's the underlying stress of missing/late periods too. I'm currently 9 weeks 'late' and it's just the worry not being 100% sure (even though I'm 99% sure!).

It's hard being a woman!
