Is this normal? (HRT)

I have been on HRT (estrogel and utrogestan) since November 2019. My last period was June 2019 and before then had a light one about every three months.

Doctor prescribed 2 pumps of estrogel and one tablet of utrogestan to be taken every day. A blood test taken at the time came back as post menopause.

Everything has been great, no low moods, no hot sweats and much better sleep. Two days ago I started have a very light bleed and had the normal menstrual signs (sore breasts, slight pelvic ache). I've have a phone consultation booked in a couple of weeks with doctor but wondered if anyone else has had this? I thought my monthly days were over. Thanks

I have this too on the exact same medication. It's a pain and I hate it.

It's usual to wait 12 months after a period before using continuous combined hrt- 2 hormones daily- so that would be June 2020. Using conti before that can mean if your own hormones break through before you are fully post meno, you can get a period. You need to see your GP and they may arrange a scan as in theory you are having bleeding more than 12 months after your last period and they usually want to investigate why. Prob just the HRT but see gp.
