Peri symptoms like pregnancy ones?

Hi I'm hoping to get some advice. I'm currently 17 days late with my period although I'm not usually very regular. Never gone this long between before. I've also had sore boobs (eased now) nausea, bloating and hot flushes. My husband had the snip a few years ago under general anaesthetic where they tied his tubes after a failed standard vasectomy so can't be pregnant as he was given all clear. Is this how peri starts? I've just turned 43

Just to say I did a test today to be sure and, as expected, it was negative. So would be glad of any advice! If it is peri, would I get symptoms all at once?!

Sounds like it could be the start of it for sure if the symptoms carry on I would say deffo
Look out for other symptoms as well there’s so many !
Sleepless nights
Anxiety
Urine leakage when sneezing or busting to get to the toilet
Low moods
Tender boobs
I felt like I was constantly hot all the time
Painful joints
The list goes on ..........
I’ve just finished my first month of HRT patches and feeling so much better I’m 44 x

I was thinking of posting under this section as I’m feeling so similar to you. I’m 46 and while I’m OK most of the time, I feel nauseous and awful shortly before my period- far worse than when I was younger. Also have sore boobs some months.

I find Indigestion remedies and exercise really help, even brisk walk makes me feel slightly better. Mind you, I’ve taken indigestion tablets today and still feel gassy and sick as a dog.☹️

I feel better once my period starts and then I’m fine until the week before my next one. Ugh,
peri menopause is a pain!

Yes I think it’s all part of the endless joy that is peri

Thanks all. Still no sign of a period and still feeling nauseous but not all day like I have had. I guess there isn't a lot I can do at the moment. I've lost over 5 stone this year so hopefully that will help.

I’m lying on the sofa with a hot water bottle on my stomach, DH isn’t being v.sympathetic...although I can imagine the fuss if he had this every month.😂
