Hi All
I had a bilateral salpingectomy 12 years ago (and several rounds of IVF) and am now wondering whether this may have caused/contributed to a hormone imbalance.
Has anyone got any experience of this?
I'm 46 and peri. Several symptoms (mood swings, flushes, dryness, low libido, acne) so am waiting on gynae telephone appt to discuss HRT.
Thanks

I had my fallopian tubes removed to sterilise me after 4 C sections. Unlike you I have been lucky enough not to require IVF but I am having a pretty rough time of peri with pretty much every symptom going and a few that I had no idea about (Friend says I have the full house in menopause bingo). I wont be taking HRT, but I hope that it works for you and that you start to feel better soon.
