Does estrogel take a while to work?

I'm perimenopausal and have been having terrible mood swings. I've started estrogel 2 pumps daily (I have the mirena coil as well) how long before I feel the benefit (if indeed I do)

Medical advice is all hrt needs to be given 3 months at least to see the full effects.

It's not an overnight 'cure'- it takes years for hormones to fall and weeks/ months to build them up to see the benefits. Hang on in there.
