Does anyone experience really bad uncomfortable bloating since the start of meno? At times, I look & feel pregnant, also get really nauseous.
This together with about 1 stone weight gain is really getting to me. ( Not pregnant, partner been done & also did a test jic)
What does everyone use to help with these symptoms? I eat a healthy vegetarian diet & exercise regularly. Advice greatly appreciated.

If you have persistent changes like this, you should see your GP.

Persistent bloating for no reason and weight gain can be signs of something more serious like ovarian cancer (rarely of course.)

When you say 'starting the meno' do you mean peri menopause or have your periods stopped?

If you have a look at the charity Overcome, there is a guide you can print off where you can track your symptoms like bloating and take it to your GP. I think the guide is called BEAT and it's linked on their site.

Probably nothing serious but worth having someone medical give an opinion and maybe a scan.

I'm about 4 years in from when peri started. Thanks for replying. I think I will talk to the Dr because this does feel different than usual bloating. Probably nothing, but better check.
