Is this the start of peri menopause?

Hi,
I posted a while back about a problem that developed in the last year with chin and neck hair and got some advice on here so posting again.
Strangely the neck and chin hair doesn't seem to be sprouting up every day and seems to be not as much.
Now I appear to be waking up sweating. So much so that with my anxiety I panic I have covid (two children in school) but get the two thermometers and check and I'm fine and once pottered about waking up don't feel sweaty. I'm also finding that some evenings I feel really tired and have rosey red cheeks. I also appear to feel cold more and live in dressing gown when in the house.
For about a month or two I appear to have what I believe is acid reflux and can no longer manage certain foods without excess wind.
I've always had IBS but never the acid reflux and never this much wind.
My hair is thinner than it's ever been and no longer looks the way it use to.
Periods, I was never regular and struggled to get pregnant I was that irregular but now they are every 26-30 days and I have crippling pain a few days before.
Finally I'm appear to have developed an allergy to alcohol & chocolate and I'm far more emotional than I've ever been.
Does this sound like the start of perimenopause?

There are no definete test for perimenopause. It is more of a deduction really. So you have to cross everything else first to come to that conclusion. If you not said perimenopause then I would have said your symptoms are more aligned with pcos or thyroid issues.
Why not discuss your issues with a GP and let them run some test. If everything else is ruled out then it's probably perimenopause.

Thanks for the reply. I didn't realise PCOS start in your 40's because most people I know with it developed it in their 20's.
I'll have a look at thyroid issues, I hadn't thought about it could be that and convinced myself it was the start of peri.

The night sweats can be anxiety. I have that and have done since my 30s. Often accompanied by stressful dreams.
