Hi there it’s been a while since I’ve used Mumsnet but I wanted to
Ask for some guidance from women in the know!

This year I had a spinal fusion and the pain after the fusion changed but was still
Present so my consultant did
A deep
Pelvic MRI and found an 18cm fibroid (we named him Colin).. so reffered to a gynaecologist and she had me in for a hysterectomy on 5th November. It was an abdominal one..
Anyway upon opening me up she found she could move my uterus as it was fused to my bowel and I have stage 4 endometriosis. My ovaries were also in a ‘poor’ state so she removed them.
I’ve ended up having the full works and a bowel resection to
Boot.
At the moment no HRT until my biopsy of Colin and my ovaries come back.. I have a testosterone implant that will self destruct in 5 weeks.. at the moment I’m in the limbo of waiting to see what the hell was inside me until we take next steps..

Anyone been here? Can offer any advice on what to expect.. or just a friendly stroke is fine x

Sorry, no advice, just Flowers, sounds like you've had a right time of it. Hope you get someone along who can advise.

Ouch! That sounds like a major operation, you must feel like you’ve gone ten rounds with Mike Tyson Sad.
Sorry no advice, hope someone else can give you some soon.
Also, I hope you feel better in the not too distant future.
