Cycle longer than patches cycle

So before I get the pharmacist and/or GP involved.

In Peru, have evorel sequi patches, 28 days per box but my cycle, just coming to end of 3rd month now, us stubbornly remaining at 30/31 days.

So should I wait from the end of last conti patch the 2/3 maybe 4 days until cycle starts again to put on the 50 patch or just keep slapping them on continuously?

My instinct is to wait but I might be totally wrong.

Has anyone else asked their medical professionals the same? And what was the answer?

Please.

Hello in Peru! :)

Not really sure what you mean by a 30 days cycle BUT if you mean you don't bleed till a few days after the last conti patch that's right- and how it should be. There is always a delay of a few days before the bleeding starts. So you apply the patch as normal, regardless of any blood loss or not.

Peri bloody autocorrect although I would much rather be in Peru than peri so perhaps it was subconscious!

It was just that the first cycle said wait until 3-5 days after you start bleeding to apply first patch but now I am applying patch 3 days before. And as time goes on it will be more and more out of synch......

It's not out of sync.

I use gel every day then gel +progesterone for 10 days.

I don't stop using gel just because I'm bleeding.

So your new patch each cycle is just estrogen and it's needed daily.

I had this, I got more and more out of sync until I ended up bleeding as I started the progesterone and just carried on throughout. No solution I'm afraid, I had to come off it in a hurry during the first lockdown (dizziness) and symptoms haven't been bad enough to be worth trying to find an alternative.
