I'm 42 and due to come on. I generally have a lot of abdomen pain but my vagina is hurting! It feels like the muscle wall hurts inside. Is this normal? I'm worried as I haven't had it before. Is this a peri sign?

I had similar symptoms few months ago and I am in peri too. Happened for a few months then went away on its own. It happened couple days before period and then I spotted for 2-3 days. Once proper period started it went away.
I am not on HRT or any supplements, it just went away.
