I'm 48, periods every 21 days (they've speeded up!) but I've all the symptoms of change in BO, thinning hair, vaginal dryness. I have a Mirena. I did get night sweats a few years ago but weirdly, they stopped. I've a LOT of joint pain and skeletal pain. It's all being attributed to my autoimmune disease but reading posts here, I'm wondering if it's part of the perimenopause? Have any of you found relief for the pain, especially those of you with other illnesses?

it's most likely loss of estrogen and you might want to try adding estrogen to the Mirena (that gives you the progesterone part you need with hrt.)
