Spotting perimenopause

I am in perimenopause but have had some light spotting usually brown or light toffee coloured, it comes and go, wonder if anyone had experienced the same in later stages thanks. It's been on and off for 21 days sometimes on pad but nothing when I wipe

It's very common and is caused by lack of progesterone as you won't be ovulating or the progesterone levels are low. The mini pill is one treatment if it's bothering you.
