Auditory hallucinations

Ive posted elsewhere about this too but just wondering if anyone else has experienced this. A few months ago I wrote somewhere about smelling phantom smells and other people said that they had experienced this too. Yesterday at work I heard an air raid siren, now given that I am in the UK and that we dont have early warning sirens for earthquakes, tsunamis etc I stuck my head out of the office window and nothing, no people running, no panic in the local area, nothing out of the ordinary. Today I was in works kitchen at 8am, I heard the office mobile go off with a text/whatsapp notifcation which would usually mean that there was a problem at that time of day. No phone notifications, my colleagues phone had none either and she said that she hadnt heard the phone go off at all. It appears that I am now also experiencing auditory hallucinations. I have noticed recently that my hearing has become more sensitive and that some noises are very irritating. I did Google it and apparently it is a menopause thing that I havent ever heard of, but then I hadnt heard about phantom smells either.
