HRT & Ovarian cyst

Good evening,
I am absolutely terrified. I am 61 and on HRT (Gel and progesterone). Had my check up today. Lining of uterus is fine but there is a very small cyst on left ovary which was there last year. Consultant not worried but sent for tumour marker blood test. Am so worried. Has anybody else experienced ovarian cyst on HRT?
Many thanks

I’m just googling as I’ve had the same. Been on HRT about two years - gel and progesterone and I’ve just been told I have cyst on ovary. Apparently normal if perimenopausal but abnormal if post menopausal (not sure if I am as was still having periods when I went on HRT but I’m 55 now) Feel a bit stunned. What was the outcome of yours?

Ladies, hopefully your cysts are just normal ones - Lynn, you say they are normal when perimeno but abnormal post - I am thinking if on HRT it could be different as you have the hormones. Just me thinking - by no means an expert. I am however a bit of an expert on cysts. I had one - huge - but "normal". It just had to come out as was massive.
Please, people, try not to panic on the results of that blood test (CA25 it is called). It can be raised even if you have a normal cyst - mine was, the gynae was not bothered. Anyway, best wishes x
