I have some kind of virus at the moment. Managed to get a covid test yesterday and awaiting results. But the flushes ( if that’s what they are) seem a lot more frequent. Of course it could be viral which complicates things but it feels like the usual flushes. Has anyone else experienced that?

How are you feeling now? Did you get your result?

Since being in the peri stage I often feel as though I am coming down with something but it never materialises. I need to make sure I eat properly and get enough sleep as they both certainly help.

Thanks @HelloDaisy. The result came back negative ( had to wait 80hours to get it though...). I am sure the flushes can be made worse by anxiety, and maybe also by any viral illness. After getting the all cellar I went on a 2 day hike in glorious countryside in Wales, and barely noticed a hot flush 😀.

The all clear! It was obviously just a cold. I’ll think twice before going for a test again as the only symptom I had was loss of smell, which is pretty common in viral infections and not unique to Covid.

Glad to hear you are feeling better and pleased for you the the result was negative.

Your hiking sounds great. I do find that walking helps me..
