How much progesterone on top of implant?

Hi, I'm peri-menopausal and am taking oestrogen gel everyday and progesterone tablets for two weeks out of four. However I also have the contraceptive implant. Do u need both?

Did they know you have an implant?

do you think you have been given too much or not enough? Did you talk it over with the dr and did they explain the dose?
