I am 48 and have been prescribed this after a phone call with my GP (low mood, night sweats, anxiety, difficulty concentrating, itchiness) She had to check I was still ok to take it as my mum has had breast cancer, so didn't go into great detail about how to take it, but I've now picked up the prescription. The instructions seem to say I need to start on the first day of my period, but that will mean waiting another month as I started my period a few days ago...
Does anyone take this or know what I should do?
( I could phone my GP back, but as I sobbed on the phone to her, I'd rather not!!)
Thank you so much for any help you can give

You can start it now. it doesnt matter if it;s a few days into your cycle.

I was told I could just start. My periods had become totally irregular so I could have been waiting for ages.
