I missed a period so its been 8 weeks since I had a really heavy one. I've come on today and I feel weird. Dizzy spells, stomach ache and weak. I assume I'm paying for missing one Hmm I've been pwri for about 4 years and its really ramped up lately with symptoms. Can anyone relate to this? Would like to know I'm in good company Grin

I’m expecting this to be me any day now too.

Last period was in July and lasted 20 days and big had a sniff of anything else since.

It’s awful not knowing if and when the next one will arrive.

You have my sympathies. I can relate to this.

Thanks and to you. Weirdly, if I hadn't missed my period in July I would have been due on this week so my body knows when it should. Ugh, not fun

My last two periods have been horrific! Weak, shaky legs, nauseous, dizzy, chills and shivering, anxious. During one of them I was considering A&E! Not that seriously but I did wonder what the hell was happening to me.

The period before those two I had one weird morning where I thought I was coming down with flu or Covid, then was back to normal by the afternoon when my period arrived.

Just before the two horrific periods my neck went funny (I've now discovered it's a trapped nerve and I'm still struggling physically with that too). I'm dreading the next period, I just hope that now I understand that it's my period plus trapped nerve I'll be less anxious next time round.

My periods are sometimes 3 weeks apart too. Miserable.

Oh, the delights of perimenopause Grin

It's not for everyone I know, but having a Mirena coil put in when I was 46 sorted out all that periods gone mad nonsense. I didn't have another period after it went in, and by the time I had it taken out my periods had stopped completely. Such a relief.

I've been considering mini pill or coil to stop the periods. I'm a bit scared of the coil, but need to research it and see if I can conquer the fear.
