Vivid dreams / night terrors

Does anyone else have these?
I'm 46 and have been getting these for quite a while. DH has said I regularly shout, scream, cry and thrash out when I'm asleep. Been having really bad dreams and I fell out of bed last night and hurt my knees 😢 I also end up sleeping on my side on the very edge of the bed - I have no idea why I do this as DH certainly doesn't hog the bed.
Anyone have any ideas or is this just another delightful peri symptom?

Too hot?

I have had them all my life and being too hot matters and I am def sleeping a lot hotter these days ( even without heatwave)

Some mattresses are better than others if you are prone to falling out of bed. If you can find a local manufacturer they may be able to help

No. It's nothing to do with peri IMO.

I've always suffered from nocturnal panic attacks/night terrors but they were once in a blue moon affairs. I'm 51 now and although my cycle regular as clockwork I am getting a lot of peri symptoms and one of them is a definite increase in the night terror joy. They come in clusters, I don't get every night.

I wondered if it's menopause or Covid stress related though
