Hi. Ive recently started HRT, Femoston 1mg/10mg.

My FSH test, for what it's worth, showed a reading of 39 iu/l - very high for perimenopause according to GP.

I have had bad hot flushes and insomnia, UT symptoms and fatigue for ages - about three years but really intensifying this year. Cycles were very light and short, and stretching.

Is it possible that I needed the Femoston 2mg? Is 1mg really for women earlier in perimenopause, or does everyone start out on the low dose?
