Insatiable appetite?

Hi
Does anyone struggle with feeling full or satisfied after a meal? I really do. I'm starving. OK, have always loved food but this is weird, eating a pretty large breakfast of porridge, fruit and salad platter, tea, some avacado and nuts, and still wanting more to eat.
I'm 49 and very peri.
Anyone else? Google search suggests its all part of the perimenopause, but I'm wondering what the solution is. Because I'm beginning to think that my belly fat is less to do with hormonal changes and more to do with the amount I'm eating.

Thank you

Thank you Deux I will definitely try.

dontdisturbmenow. Good for you it's so hard isn't it? I used to eat exactly what I wanted to in my 20's and early 30's. It's been a shock the change in this as I've got older, and the the coil has now just added to it

It is really hard. Ive had to watch my weight all my life but was always able to shift the extra pounds and when I did, my appetite went gradually so it wasn't so bad.

Nowadays I feel like I'm constantly calling with mother nature. Not only do I hardly lose weight eating very well but I feel hungry all the time.

I realise that food is constantly in mind and that's despite being very busy every day so it's a constant battle of willpower.

I tell myself that if I don't lose much weight despite everything, it means that I would be putting on a lot of weight if I wasn't putting all the efforts in so it's not wasted. I also hope that it will get easier as I get closer to the end of the menopause and I start sleeping deeply again.

The things we take for granted in our 20s and 30s!

Well I had my acupuncture and I went from breakfast to lunch without noticing I hadn’t eaten any elevenses (unheard of) so I am hopeful! Come to think of it I had no afternoon snack either. Looking good for my diet Grin
